Respect for People Award

Globally the Toyota Way expresses the beliefs and values shared by the Toyota family. The two main pillars that support it are Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) & Respect for People. To recognise the importance of these at TNZ we have two awards, which are presented twice a year at staff meetings in June and November.

  • The Kaizen award acknowledges continuous improvement projects throughout the business
  • The Respect for People award celebrates our focus on our 8 Believe statements

Award submissions must be submitted by:

  • 31 May (presented in June staff meeting)
  • 31 October (presented in November staff meeting)

 A committee of representatives from throughout the business will assess the applications and select a winner, to be reviewed with the GM for People Development. All submissions will be recorded in a register.

The Kaizen award winner’s team will win a morning tea catered for by the TNZ Cafe and will hold the award until the next presentation.

The Respect for People award winner will receive a $50 pressie card and will hold the award until the next presentation.
