Our Community

United North Piha Club is an independent organisation dedicated in making sure that people are safe and enjoy their time at the beach. With over 70 years under their belt, the volunteers are well trained in life guarding and water safety. The club relies on public donations to help them provide a safe time for everyone at the beach.

On the 16th of March, United North Piha held a charity car wash and sausage sizzle event at North Western Toyota Henderson. This went towards raising money for them to race their Inflatable Rescue Boats (IRB’s) at nationals in Dunedin. Following the horrific attacks that happened on the Friday before the charity wash, North Western Toyota Henderson and North Western Toyota New Lynn matched the amount of $882.30 and donated this to the Christchurch Victim Fund.

North Western Toyota is proud to have hosted this great cause and wants to extend a massive thanks to everyone who stopped by and supported our friends at the United North Piha Club.

With such a great community presence, we are one with them in promoting good values amongst our youth. Waitakere Football Club prides themselves in teaching each members discipline, respect and hard work to be able to progress and compete at higher club levels and aim for National League.

The club often hosts home games and North Western Toyota is there to show support. We host a Hilux barbeque down at the field one Saturday every month. This is a great way to encourage young footballers and meet new people. Not only is it a fun way to cheer the players along, it is also a charity based event which means funds raised during the barbeque are donated towards a good cause.
