Cram The Van is back again for 2025, and promises to be our biggest and most impactful yet! We’re collecting Christmas gifts, non-perishable food items, and pet food to support and unite the Eastern Bay of Plenty community.
There’s something special about bringing the region together for a common cause. At Pacific Toyota, we’re driving this spirit firsthand during this annual initiative. This charitable event will transform several Toyota vehicles into vessels of hope and support, as we collect thousands of donations to support those in need.
What is Cram The Van?
Returning for another year, we’re proud to once again be partnering with 1XX Radio Station to turn giving into a community-wide movement.
From 17 November to 13 December 2025, our Toyota Hiace Van will travel throughout the region, being filled to the brim with your generous donations that will directly benefit our community’s most vulnerable members and those in need.
This year, we have an ambitious aim to fill as many Toyotas with as many donations as possible while visiting 26 locations throughout the Eastern Bay of Plenty.
In the Community, for the Community
We’re thrilled to be partnering with six incredible local charities, each playing a vital role in supporting the Eastern Bay of Plenty community:
- The Salvation Army
- SPCA Whakatāne
- Whakaatu Whanaunga Trust
- OSCA (Opotiki Society for Care of Animals)
- Have a Heart Charitable Trust
- Koha Ki Kawerau
Every donation collected will be distributed by these charities to ensure it reaches those who need it most during the holiday season.

It’s easier than ever for the Eastern Bay of Plenty community to contribute. Over the next month, our Toyota van will travel throughout the region, stopping at 26 collection points to gather your generous donations.
Whether you have Christmas gifts for children, non-perishable food for families facing food insecurity, or pet food for animals in need, every contribution makes a difference. Check the 1XX website for specific dates and locations near you and plan to stop by when we’re in your neighbourhood.
The Uncramming Celebration

One of the most rewarding moments of Cram The Van is witnessing generosity transform into real, tangible support for our community.
