The GR Fleet
The fleet on the day will include the GR Corolla, GR Supra, GR86, GR Yaris, Hilux GR Sport, Yaris Cross GR Sport and the LC300 GR Sport. You will have an opportunity to drive most of these vehicles throughout the day. All listed vehicles are dependent on availability.

Event Details and Information
Toyota New Zealand will organise and run four GR Track Day Experiences in 2024 on:
- Thursday 18 January 2024 at Taupo International Motorsport Park and Events Centre
- Thursday 25 January 2024 at Manfeild
- Thursday 1 February 2024 at Hampton Downs
- Wednesday 14 February 2024 at Highlands Motorsport Park
Each event is open to any New Zealand resident who has a current full unrestricted New Zealand drivers’ licence and can drive a manual transmission vehicle (‘Eligible Entrant’ or 'you'). If you do not have a licence to drive a manual transmission vehicle, you are able to Register Your Interest and attend the event, but you will only be able to drive the three automatic transmission vehicles at the event.
Each event is organised and run by Toyota New Zealand, assisted by your local Toyota Dealers who will communicate with event entrants, confirm your registration prior to the event and host on the day. A team of skilled, professional, and experienced race car drivers and driver trainers will oversee and run the on-track activities.
Taupo, Hampton Downs and Manfeild events have a maximum capacity of 24 drivers. Highlands have a maximum capacity of 32 drivers.

You can bring a guest(s) on the day if they are 16 years or older. Please complete the required guest information on the Register Your Interest form and pay a fee of $129 (including GST) per guest which includes their catering.
Guests can watch the track activity from the hospitality suite in the morning, they can take part in the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing tour and will be able to have a hot lap with our professional driver team in the afternoon.
Clothing should be smart casual, warm and comfortable. Closed toe/covered shoes are required.
Please ensure you have your current full unrestricted New Zealand drivers licence.
You will be provided with barista coffee, morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. Cold refreshments will be available throughout the day. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements when you register.
Yes, however not during track activities as there will be no phone use on the track. So you can fully enjoy the day we will have a professional photographer at each event and will provide you a link to all photos following the event.
No ticket is required for entry. The TGR team will have a record of all registration entry fees paid and this will act as your ticket into the event.
Vehicles Information
No, Toyota New Zealand will provide all Toyota GR vehicles, as we ensure they are track ready for you to enjoy on the day.
The fleet will include the GR Corolla, GR Supra, GR Yaris, GR 86, Hilux GR Sport, Yaris Cross GR Sport and LC300 GR Sport. You will have an opportunity to drive the majority of these vehicle throughout the day. All listed vehicles are dependent on availability.
The majority of the GR Fleet are manual vehicles, if you cannot drive a manual you are limited to driving three vehicles only on the day.
Entry Confirmation, Payment and Cancellation
$549 (including GST) per driver and $129 per guest (if applicable).
After completing the Register Your Interest form, to secure your spot please make payment in a Toyota Store within five business days. Please note: there are only a few selected Toyota Stores that will accept payment for this event.

After completing the Register Your Interest form, to secure your place at the event, you need to pay $549 (including GST) and $129 per guest (if applicable).
You have no obligation to enter the event if you fill out the Register Your Interest form: simply don’t pay the entry fee.

A GR Experience Track Day event may be cancelled at the discretion of Toyota New Zealand for reasons including but not limited to safety, weather, track availability and COVID-19. Your local Toyota Store or Toyota New Zealand will contact you should this occur, and entry fees will be refunded, or you will be given first option of moving your spot to the postponement date.
If you can no longer attend an event, you must contact the Toyota Store you received communication from or contact Toyota New Zealand at GR.Events@toyota.co.nz. Once an entry fee has been paid it is non-refundable, at TNZ sole discretion.
