What is Toyota Connected Services?
Toyota Connected Services enhances your driving experience through a combination of in-vehicle technology and app-based features, designed to make every journey smarter and more convenient.
In-vehicle features
Toyota Connected Services includes features such as enhanced safety and security support, connected navigation, voice recognition, and live weather updates — all designed to support you while you’re on the road.[1]
App features
Through the myToyota Connect app, you can remotely access selected vehicle information and controls, helping you stay connected to your Toyota even when you’re away from it.[1]

SOS Emergency Call (SOS)
Press the SOS button in your overhead console to connect with a trained agent at our 24/7 emergency call centre. They can contact emergency services and guide them to your vehicle’s location if needed, giving you confidence that help is on the way.[3]
Automatic Collision Notification (ACN)
If your airbags deploy or impact sensors are triggered, ACN automatically alerts our emergency call centre who can share your location and vehicle details with emergency services — even if you can’t respond — so if required, help can reach you quickly.[4]
Stolen Vehicle Tracking (SVT)
Enjoy extra peace of mind with enhanced vehicle security. If your Toyota is stolen, our emergency call centre can work with police to help locate it once you’ve reported the theft and provided a police report, assisting with its potential recovery.[5]
Stay informed
Check your fuel level or PHEV battery status before you start your day. Or easily locate your vehicle if you’ve parked somewhere new.[1]
Stay secure
Lock or unlock your vehicle remotely with a tap on your phone. Receive alerts if your vehicle’s doors are left unlocked or windows are left open.[1]
Climate Control Scheduling
Start your vehicle remotely to set your preferred cabin temperature and de-mist windows, so it’s ready for comfort in any weather. You can also schedule climate settings in advance, so your Toyota is prepared when your journey begins.[1]

Toyota Connected Services only collects the information needed to deliver the features you choose. Toyota New Zealand and our dealers cannot track your vehicle. Should an emergency event occur (such as a triggered event via ACN, SOS, SVT, or other emergency), your location can be shared to our emergency call centre so if required, help can reach you.[1]
The available features and services will come with a complimentary trial period of at least four years. After this trial, certain services will require a paid subscription. At that point, you can choose whether to continue or discontinue using the paid Toyota Connected features and services.[2]
Please note that when using the myToyota Connect app on your device, your mobile data may be used.
Yes. All information will be managed according to Toyota’s strict privacy standards.
Toyota Connected Services will only be available with the sixth generation RAV4 arriving in early 2026. More models will be added progressively across the Toyota range from 2026.
Yes. You can add more than one Toyota to your myToyota Connect account, as long as each vehicle is compatible with Toyota Connected Services. Once added, you can switch between vehicles in the app and view their status, features, and details in one place.[1]
The myToyota Connect app will be available for both iOS and Android devices. You can download it from the App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android from March 2026.[1]
