Test drive to win a Toyota Aqua promotion - Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter
   The promoter is Manukau Toyota Group (the Promoter). The Participating Dealerships are Botany Toyota, Manukau Toyota, Papakura Toyota and Pukekohe Toyota (each a Participating Dealership).
   
   
2. Promotion period
   The promotion begins at 8:00am on 10 September 2026 and ends at 6:00pm on 23 December 2026 (the Promotion Period). Entries received outside the Promotion Period are invalid.
   
   
3. Eligibility
   Entry is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or older who hold a current driver license that permits them to complete the relevant test drive and who comply with these terms and any reasonable test-drive requirements of the Participating Dealership.
   The following people are not eligible to enter:
   • employees, contractors and directors of the Promoter, Toyota New Zealand Limited, any Toyota or Lexus dealership, and any agency or supplier directly involved with the promotion;
   • the immediate family members of any person listed above; and
   • any person whom the Promoter reasonably considers has interfered with the entry process or breached these terms.
     
     
4. How to enter
   To enter, an eligible person must complete a genuine test drive of any new or used vehicle at a Participating Dealership during the Promotion Period and provide the contact details reasonably required to record and administer the entry.
   Unless the Promoter agrees otherwise in writing, each eligible person may receive one entry during the promotion period. Each test drive must be booked or approved by the Participating Dealership, completed in accordance with its normal test-drive procedures, and recorded by a staff member. No purchase is necessary.
   Incomplete, illegible, duplicate, automated or fraudulent entries may be rejected. The Promoter may verify an entrant's identity, eligibility, driver license and completion of the qualifying test drive.
   
   
5. Prize
   There is one prize: one yellow 2019 Toyota Aqua 1.5 Hybrid Crossover 5-door hatch, CVT, 2WD, registration RYZ43, valued at $21,888 (the Prize Vehicle).
   The Prize Vehicle is a used vehicle and will be supplied in its condition at the time of handover, with a current Warrant of Fitness and registration as required by law. Any warranty or consumer rights applying to the Prize Vehicle will be explained to the winner before handover.
   The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. The winner is responsible for insurance and all fuel, servicing, registration, licensing and other running costs arising after handover. Images used in promotional material are indicative only and may not accurately reflect the vehicle's condition at handover.
   
   
6. Prize draw and notification
   The winner will be selected by random draw from all valid entries at 12:00PM Thursday 24 December 2026. The draw will be conducted by the Promoter at Manukau Toyota,1 Gladding Place, Manukau or at another location selected by the Promoter under independent or appropriately supervised conditions.
   The provisional winner will be contacted using the phone number and/or email address supplied with their entry. Before being confirmed as the winner, they must provide any information reasonably required to verify eligibility and must accept the prize within five working days of first notification.
   If the provisional winner cannot be contacted, does not respond or accept the prize within that period, is ineligible, or otherwise fails to comply with these terms, the Promoter may draw another winner on the same basis. The Promoter may continue to redraw until a valid winner is confirmed. The Promoter reserves the right to determine the validity of entries and eligibility of entrants and to resolve any disputes relating to the promotion, acting reasonably.
   
   
7. Prize collection and publicity
   The winner must collect the Prize Vehicle from a Participating Dealership at a mutually agreed time and complete any ownership-transfer documentation required. The Promoter will pay the standard change-of-ownership fee. The winner must hold the appropriate valid driver license before driving the Prize Vehicle.
   Subject to the winner's consent, the Promoter may photograph or film the prize handover and use the winner's name, town or suburb, image and comments to announce and promote the outcome of the promotion through its websites, social media, dealership displays and other marketing channels. Consent may be withheld without affecting prize entitlement.
   
   
8. Privacy
   The Promoter will collect and use entrants' personal information to administer the promotion, verify entries, contact the winner and arrange prize handover. Information may be shared with service providers assisting with those activities and where required by law. Entrants may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting the Promoter. Any separate use of personal information for marketing will be subject to the entrant's consent and the Promoter's privacy policy.
   
   
9. General conditions
   The Promoter may disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms or where it reasonably suspects tampering, fraud, misleading information or conduct that may compromise the fair operation of the promotion.
   If the promotion cannot operate as planned for reasons outside the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter may suspend, amend or cancel it, subject to applicable law. Any change will be communicated through reasonable channels and will not unfairly disadvantage valid entrants where reasonably practicable.
   To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for an entry that is lost, late, misdirected or not recorded because of a technical or administrative failure outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Privacy Act 2020 and Fair Trading Act 1986.
