Another year and another Toyota Festival!

Highlands Motorsport Park in Cromwell was the venue for Toyota’s eighth Toyota Festival on 7-8 March – an event marked in the calendar of many Toyota enthusiasts around the country. This was the third time the event had been held at Highlands Motorsport Park.

Toyota models from across the decades showed up.

There were Track and Drift sessions and a gymkhana, and those for whom tracks were not really their thing could enter the Show and Shine competition or just go along, park up and enjoy the festivities.

More than 350 attendees and fans from all over New Zealand ventured to the south for the eagerly anticipated annual event to show their metal and feel the sheer excitement of track activity.

It was the first year that the new FT-60 and the third iteration of the car in the Toyota Racing Series was on display and demonstrated on track at the event.

This year also marked the first year we saw some customers’ GR Supras on the track.

The 2020 Toyota Festival was another event for customers to enjoy each other’s company and share the enjoyment of their much-loved metal.
