Toyota Corolla recall

News-Article-Toyota-Logo-950x450

Toyota New Zealand is recalling 1239 vehicles due to a potential torque converter issue. The model affected is the Toyota Corolla manufactured between 8th August and 16th October 2018.

This is a precautionary measure due to the potential for a torque converter component failure resulting in a loss of motive power, increasing the safety risk.

The remedy will be completed free of charge by Toyota stores and will take approximately 9 hours to complete.

Owners of the vehicles, which are traceable through registration data, will be contacted by Toyota New Zealand through a remedy owner letter.
