Toyota's premium Aurion sedan range welcomes in the New Year with the arrival of a dynamic new special edition, the Sportivo ZR6.
Building on the powerful Aurion Sportivo SX6, the new Sportivo ZR6 ups the ante in terms of prestigious levels of luxury specification, with a number of exclusive additions.

Toyota's most highly specified Aurion stands out from the moment you walk towards it. With street presence aplenty, its well-proportioned dimensions sport a styled body kit consisting of mesh grille, front and rear valance, fog lights, side skirts and a boot spoiler, and it rides on five-spoke 17-inch alloys.
Inside, the Aurion Sportivo ZR6 boasts range-topping levels of comfort and technology. The two-tone leather stitched seats and sports pedals are matched with a three-spoke leather steering wheel which houses sequential paddle shifters for the six-speed automatic transmission, along with Bluetooth hands-free, cruise control, audio, display and voice command controls.
Meanwhile a seven-inch touchscreen display houses intuitive controls for satellite navigation, DVD video playback and the premium 10-speaker JBL GreenEdge surround sound system. Other key range-topping items exclusive to the Aurion ZR6 include rain-sensing wipers, HID headlights with Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS), headlight cleaners and 'Smart Beam' headlights with automatic high and low beam sensing, a seat memory system and a rear sunshade.
Boasting the powerful 3.5-litre Dual VVT-i V6 capable of producing 200kW of power and 336Nm of torque, the Aurion Sportivo ZR6 has the dynamic ability to match its looks. Although despite the urgent power the Aurion Sportivo ZR6 delivers, its modest fuel economy (9.3L/100km) and low emissions (215g/km) attest to clever Euro 5 compliant engineering.
Meanwhile matching on-road ability with comprehensive safety remains of paramount importance, and the Aurion Sportivo ZR6 arrives with seven airbags, parking sensors front and rear, Blind Spot Monitoring functionality and a reversing camera all as standard.
The special edition Sportivo ZR6 will be in showrooms from 1 January 2013, with a recommended selling price of $52,990.
