Supporting Kiwi Community Assistance

At Rutherford & Bond and King Toyota, we're proud to support organisations that make a real difference in our communities.

Over several days in April, members of our team volunteered alongside Kiwi Community Assistance (KCA), helping unload and move donated stock into their new Johnsonville premises. Led by Tracy and the KCA team, the organisation provides food, clothing, and household essentials to families across the Wellington region, made possible through the generosity of local businesses and the wider community.

It was a privilege to lend a hand during such an important move and see firsthand the incredible work KCA does every day.

A special thank you goes to Monty from our Kapiti store, who spent all three days behind the forklift, helping with some of the heavy lifting and keeping everything moving.

In early May, a number of our team members also had the opportunity to attend the soft opening of KCA's new Johnsonville location. It was wonderful to celebrate this milestone with the KCA team and see their new space ready to continue supporting families throughout the region.

Thank you to Tracy and everyone at Kiwi Community Assistance for the care, dedication, and compassion you bring to our community. We're grateful to have been able to play a small part in supporting your move and look forward to seeing the positive impact your new home will continue to make.

Be sure to follow KCA on Facebook and LinkedIn to keep up with the amazing work they’re doing across the Wellington region.
