Creating Unforgettable All Blacks Experiences

Thanks to Toyota New Zealand’s partnership with New Zealand Rugby and the All Blacks, we recently had the opportunity to create some very special memories for a group of young players from Petone Rugby Club.

It began with a surprise visit during the club’s Matariki celebrations. The young players arrived expecting a morning of skills, drills and plenty of fun, but there was one part of the day they didn’t know about.

All Blacks Peter Lakai, Luke Jacobson and Kyle Preston joined the session, surprising the kids and spending time getting involved in the activities. The excitement on their faces said it all, and the players helped make an already special celebration one they’ll remember for years to come.

The experience continued when 10 young Petone Rugby players were invited to attend the All Blacks Captain’s Run ahead of their Test match against Italy in Wellington.

The group had the chance to watch their heroes prepare for Test match day, experience the atmosphere behind the scenes and meet the players afterwards. For young rugby fans, it was an incredible opportunity to see what happens at the highest level of the game.

We’re grateful to Toyota New Zealand, New Zealand Rugby and the All Blacks for helping make both experiences possible, and to Petone Rugby Club for allowing us to share these moments with their young players.

Supporting grassroots rugby is about more than what happens on the field. It’s about inspiring the next generation and creating memories they’ll carry with them for years to come.
