From the ground up, Toyota Stores are backing local initiatives that make a real difference – whether it’s lending a hand with community projects or supporting grassroots sport. Here are just a few of the ways our Stores are showing up for their communities across Aotearoa.
Tasman Toyota supports Building Wellness Taranaki’s mental health and suicide prevention programme across construction and trades workplaces by providing a sponsored vehicle, helping to host events at the Store and offsite and to help raise awareness and promote change in the conversations around mental wellbeing.
For over seven years, Pacific Toyota has provided financial support, hands-on volunteering, and four Toyota Hilux to help Good Neighbour deliver firewood and food to families in the Bay of Plenty.
Rutherford & Bond Toyota and King Toyota have been loved by Wellingtonians for over 20 years. In that time, they’ve supported more than 12 major community initiatives and charitable organisations, including the Kai Ika Project, The Capital Kiwi Project and Te Omanga Hospice.
The Kai Ika Project uses a Hilux Hybrid supplied by Auckland City Toyota to deliver nourishing kai to whānau across Auckland—food that would otherwise go to waste.
This partnership reflects Auckland City Toyota’s deep commitment to the communities they serve and to creating a more sustainable Aotearoa.

We believe local sports clubs are the heart and soul of our communities, encouraging diverse individuals to come together, even on those chilly Saturday mornings. We’re proud of the thousands of Toyotas carrying Kiwis to sport.
Our Brand Guardians inspire generations by being great role models. Their competitive spirit and empathy for all drives their passion for sustainable initiatives, mobility technology and challenging the status quo.
