Level 1 GR Track Experience
Level 1 consists of GRNZ presentations, building into the morning track activities of GR Khana, Emergency Breaking, Super G Slalom and Dynamic Corning. In the afternoon we get into some guided lapping, a GR tour and finish the day off with Hot Laps driven by the GR Professional Drivers.

Level 2 GR Track Experience
Already mastered Level 1 on the track? Register for our exclusive Level 2 GR Track Experience*, designed to help refine your driving technique through higher intensity activities and exclusive experiences.
At Level 2, we start the day off with a track inspection to set you up for the track activities of Super G Slalom, 2 Directional Emergency Braking and High-speed Lane Change. The afternoon is filled with guided lapping before we finish the day off with Hot Laps driven by the GR Professional Drivers.

Toyota New Zealand will organise and run three Level 1 GR Track Days Experiences in 2027 and three Level 2 GR Track Days Experiences in 2027 on the following dates:

Level 2 is designed to refine driving techniques and push the vehicles to the limits through higher difficulty and intensity track activities. It is limited to 18 attendees at each event allowing intimate coaching and more time in the vehicles.
To be an eligible participant of a Level 2 GR Track Experience Day, you must have completed the Level 1 GR Track Experience Day prior. You may register for both, if you complete Level 1 prior to Level 2 (they are run on consecutive days, with Level 1 on a Wednesday and Level 2 on a Thursday).
Each event is open to any New Zealand resident who has a current full unrestricted New Zealand drivers’ licence (‘Eligible Entrant’ or ‘you’). If you do not know how to drive manual transmission vehicle, you are able to register and attend the event, but you may be limited to the vehicles you can drive.
Each event is organised and run by Toyota New Zealand, assisted by an Authorised Toyota Store who will host on the day. A team of highly skilled professional race car drivers and driver trainers will oversee and run the on-track activities.
Level 1 has a maximum capacity of 32 drivers and Level 2 has a maximum capacity of 18 drivers per event.

You can bring a guest(s) on the day if they are 16 years or older. Please complete the required guest information on the Register Your Interest form and pay a fee of $129 (including GST) per guest which includes their catering and a hot lap.
Guests can watch the track activity from the track, they can take part in the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing tour in Level 1 and will be able to have a hot lap with our professional driver team in the afternoon.
Clothing should be smart casual, warm and comfortable. Closed toe/covered shoes are required.
Please ensure you have your current full unrestricted New Zealand drivers licence.
You will be provided with barista coffee, morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. Cold refreshments will be available throughout the day. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements when you register.
Yes, however not during track activities as no phone use is permitted on the track. So, you can fully enjoy the day, we will have a professional photographer at each event and will provide you a link to all photos following the event.
Once you have registered and paid, your name will be on the list, no physical ticket is required.
No, Toyota New Zealand will provide all Toyota GR vehicles, as we ensure they are track ready for you to enjoy on the day.
The fleet will include the GR Corolla, GR Supra, GR Yaris, GR Yaris Aero Performance Package, GR 86, and LC300 GR SPORT, RAV4 GR SPORT. You will have the opportunity to drive most of these vehicles throughout the day. All listed vehicles are dependent on availability.
Yes, we will have a range of automatic and manual vehicles on the day.

When you register through the online form, you will be prompted to make payment online.
A GR Track Experience event may be cancelled at the discretion of Toyota New Zealand for reasons including but not limited to safety, and weather. Your nominated Authorised Toyota Dealer or Toyota New Zealand will contact you should this occur, and entry fees will be refunded, or you will be given first option of moving your spot to the postponement date.
If you can no longer attend the event, you must contact the Authorised Toyota Dealer you received communication from or contact Toyota New Zealand at GR.Events@toyota.co.nz. Once an entry fee has been paid it is non-refundable, at the sole discretion of Toyota New Zealand.
