Toyota Prius C recall

News-Article-Toyota-Logo-950x450

Toyota New Zealand is recalling 38 vehicles due to a potential DC-DC converter issue. The model affected is the Toyota Prius C manufactured between 6th February 2018 and 11th March 2019.

This is a precautionary measure due to the potential for a DC-DC converter component failure resulting in a loss of motive power, increasing the safety risk.

The remedy will be completed free of charge by Toyota stores and will take approximately 4 hours to complete.

Owners of the vehicles, which are traceable through registration data, will be contacted by Toyota New Zealand through a remedy letter.
