Toyota has enhanced its top-selling Hiace range with a stylish and practical special edition model.
Based on the diesel-powered ZL model with manual transmission, one hundred units have been produced with the addition of interior and exterior enhancements worth nearly $3,000.
This customised model features a black front lip spoiler, large body coloured rear spoiler, reversing camera and an upgraded audio system with a TomTom advanced Satellite Navigation System.
The TomTom unit combines reliable positioning, portability, entertainment and communication into one system.
By combining GPS information and the vehicle's speed sensor, dependable positioning is available even in tunnels. Ejecting the touch-screen navigation system from the audio cradle gives you a fully portable navigation system for exploring on foot or for use in another vehicle.
The audio unit features an AM/FM radio, single disc MP3/WMA compatible CD player with 3.5mm auxiliary input jack, USB input jack and Bluetooth handsfree phone capability.
This lets you connect your portable MP3 player for hours of audio playback as well as a compatible Bluetooth capable mobile telephone for safely making or receiving phone calls while driving. The TomTom unit also supports text messaging.
The 4.3 inch colour TFT (Thin Film Transistor) screen gives a clear display for the navigation system as well as letting you view digital photos or videos when connected to a portable multimedia device.
When reverse gear is engaged, a clear view of the area surrounding the rear of the vehicle is displayed on the TFT screen, giving you extra piece of mind in tight spaces and pedestrian areas.
This special edition Hiace is powered by an 80kW and 286Nm 3.0L turbo charged common rail diesel engine with a five-speed manual transmission.
The special edition model is available exclusively in White.
