Changes to Toyota's Popular Yaris Hatchback

Toyota's popular, stylish and fuel efficient Yaris has received changes to its hatchback model.

Safety features have been enhanced to include a class leading full airbag package as standard specification in all hatchback models. The package includes driver and passenger front, side, front and rear curtain shield and, exclusive to the segment, a driver's knee airbag. Yaris hatchback has achieved a five-star rating by the Euro-NCAP programme.

Its exterior styling has been refreshed with a new front and rear bumper, headlight and grille designs.

The rear combination lights are now powered by LED lamps and include two reversing lights in place of the single reversing lamp and rear fog lamp that was available previously.

Newly designed 15 inch alloy wheels are standard on the 1.5 litre model and updated 14 inch steel wheels with covers are standard for the 1.3 litre models.

The Yaris hatchback is available with manual or automatic transmission in the 1.3 litre three door and five door models and an automatic transmission in the 1.5 litre five door variant.

On the inside, seat upholstery takes on a fresh new look across the hatchback range. The centre console has been refreshed and a new look manual gear lever design has been adopted. This 1.5 litre model's interior has been enhanced with chrome plated air conditioning vents and park brake accents.

Two remote master keys are now supplied with the vehicle as standard.

Three new colours are added to the exterior colours available in Yaris hatchback: Graphite, Sting and Luster.
