Round 01 | 14-16 January 2022

Highlands Motorsport Park, Cromwell

The Highlands Motorsport Park is located in Cromwell. Opened in 2013 the facility features a 4.1-kilometre circuit, designed by drawing inspiration from some of the world's most famous race tracks. There are multiple configurations but the Toyota 86 Championship races on the conventional full course layout.

One of crown jewels of the sport in New Zealand and the brainchild of Tony Quinn. A fantastic series of challenging and varying corners with some slow, some medium and some high speed. The unique addition of the crossover bridge makes for some spectacular photography as the drivers occasionally get airborne.

The longest lap on the calendar and one of our longest standing lap records.
