Two-time World Rally Champion Kalle Rovanperä’s single-seater journey begins in January in New Zealand in the Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Trophy.
In a symbolic first step, he has joined the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing-supported championship, beginning a transformational process that he hopes will take him to the top level of circuit racing.
The 25-year-old Finn has his sights set on progressing to the highest levels of single-seaters, including Super Formula in 2026.
He will compete in Japan’s top single-seater championship, which begins in April 2026 at Motegi, just two months after his campaign in NZ concludes.
