Racing is definitely in the blood of multiple champion Justin Allen and the Feilding racer is stepping up to the big time running the full 2018-2019 Toyota 86 Championship.
Justin (23) grew up watching his father Huw race in various New Zealand sports car categories before he had his first experience on track in a Toyota Starlet at a regular Manfeild track day. That was back in 2011 and quickly hooked, he progressed to the national racing where success after success followed for the Battery Town-backed racer.
A family run team that still involves mum and dad, he's keen to test his considerable skills against the best up and coming talent in the country and will definitely be more than a thorn in their sides. The Toyota 86 is new to him, but the team have a mountain of experience and a knack for working patiently through all of the set-up options on their race cars until they find the sweet spot. This season will be no different and Justin will get faster and faster.
