The National configuration of the circuit is the one most widely used and has been the scene of some fantastic battles and races over the years for the Toyota 86 Championship.
The 2.63km circuit is the only one in New Zealand with significant gradient changes throughout the lap.
It's very popular with the drivers and is technically challenging. The 'home' circuit for the team at TOYOTA GAZOO Racing New Zealand, Hampton Downs is a world class facility and one of three New Zealand venues in the expanding list of tracks owned and operated by Tony Quinn and his team.
