Hot on the heels of the new 2014 Hilux line-up comes a special edition offering unique graphics, 17” alloy wheels and an array of accessories.
The new 2WD Hilux EDGE gives owners a sportier look, with a head-turning EDGE graphics set and badge, as well as a special wheel and tyre package incorporating MAK Fuoco 17" silver alloy wheels and high-performing 225/55R17 Bridgestone Dueller HP tyres.
Other exterior features include LED Daytime Running Lights, stainless steel nudge bar and stainless steel side pipes. The 2WD Hilux EDGE’s double cab body also boasts colour-matched door handles, door mirrors and rear bumper with integrated step, along with the stylish addition of tinted windows on the front doors and tinted privacy windows on rear doors and back screen.
Inside the cab, owners will discover unique EDGE-branded carpet floor mats, front headrests and a leather-wrapped gear knob.
The EDGE special edition adds more than $5000 worth of extras, making this Hilux a sporty, individual statement for recreational and commercial owners at a value-for-money price.

The 2014 Hilux range has already begun one of the most wide-ranging update programmes ever launched at one time for the model; increased specification and features in SR5 models, including standard satellite navigation with SUNA traffic channel and reversing camera, more safety equipment, a 5 star ANCAP safety rating and a new diesel 5 speed automatic transmission for 4WD Hilux all making their debut this year.
In addition to the special edition 2WD Hilux EDGE, the mainstream line-up has also expanded, with a powerful new 4.0-litre V6 petrol engine and 5 speed automatic transmission variants for both 2WD and 4WD double cab SR5 grade Hilux joining the family, bringing together 12 different iterations to suit a huge variety of tasks for a huge variety of owners.
The Hilux EDGE is available in four exterior colours – ink, glacier white, velocity red and charcoal grey and is priced from $39,990.
