More Power and Better Efficiency

Thanks to its Euro 5 four-cylinder 2.8-litre 1GD turbo diesel engine with Stop & Start function, the Hiace offers seamless on-road performance across the range.

The Hiace ZR Minibus's highly efficient common-rail turbocharged engine and six speed automatic transmission delivers 130 kilowatts of power, and 450Nm of torque.


Smooth Operator

Every working day is different but no matter how many or how few occupants are on board, the Hiace ZR Minibus promises consistent handling and stability as well as ride comfort.

Toyota engineers have designed a independent MacPherson-type front suspension for the Hiace ZR Minibus to provide drivers with excellent steering feel, as well as consistent handling, and stability on the road, while passengers will notice higher levels of ride comfort and much less road noise.

A rear leaf suspension for the Hiace ZR Minibus also minimises vibration and contributes to the smoother ride quality.

Moving People in Style

The Hiace ZR Minibus seats up to ten people in style and comfort thanks to an overhead cooler and a separate underseat heater in the spacious rear passenger compartment, as well as the fitting of another two speakers for the audio system.

The second and third row seats in the Hiace ZR Minibus comfortably accommodate two people each, while the fourth row comfortably accommodates four occupants. This fourth-row seat can be folded away in its entirety when not in use to create more luggage capacity, while the second- and third-row seats have a tether anchor for a child’s booster seat if needed.

Creating Safer Passenger Transport

Toyota has created the Hiace ZR 10-seat Minibus to meet the demand for safer passenger transport, and to provide drivers with a better workplace environment.

Toyota Safety Sense is fitted as standard across the New Hiace range, and it features the Pre-Collision System with Autonomous Emergency Braking, as well as vehicle, pedestrian, and bicycle detection functions. Lane Departure Alert with brake control will help the driver maintain lane discipline, while Road Sign Assist and Automatic High Beam allow you to focus on the road ahead.

Trailer Sway Control is also fitted as standard and provides you with higher levels of safety and confidence when taking to the road with a loaded trailer hitched to the vehicle.

Easier Parking

Each Hiace is fitted as standard with parking sensors in the front and rear bumpers, a Blind Spot Monitoring system, a Reversing Camera, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert which will alert you about oncoming traffic when trying to reverse the vehicle from a driveway or a building entrance.

The Hiace ZR Minibus is also equipped with power folding mirrors, to prevent possible damage when you are parking the vehicle in narrow streets or when you are manoeuvring inside a building.
