Kiwis Kaleb Ngatoa (pictured) and Kaden Probst both impressed at Manfeild - Circuit Chris Amon today as testing for the second round of the 2024 Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Championship got underway.

But it was Round 1 winner Roman Bilinski who clocked fastest time of the day, scorching to an excellent 1 minute 3.386 seconds.

Ngatoa dominated the first session ahead of Australian Christian Mansell and those two were there again in the second later session, but were eclipsed to the top two places by Bilinski and Probst.

Liam Sceats was third fastest in the first session, just edging fast Canadian Patrick Woods-Toth and Bilinski who rounded out the morning’s top five.

In the later second session the teams went significantly quicker than the morning, Bilinski ended it three tenths up on Probst, then Mansell, Ngatoa and Woods-Toth.

Others to show some form in the day’s testing were Tommy Smith and Alex Crosbie who featured in the top ten in both sessions.

There will be official practice sessions on Friday before qualifying on Saturday morning and the first race on Saturday afternoon at the challenging Manawatu circuit.
