FT-60 Premiere E-Race on RFactor 2
We are pleased to announce the E-Sport FT-60 Premiere Race in collaboration with Studio397 and World Pro Racing.
The Castrol Toyota Racing Series Tatuus FT-60 is, since last week, available in rFactor 2! It has been created in association and with full support of Tatuus and Studio397. You find the car in the Studio 397 workshop, as Tatuus FT-60.
The five tracks the 2020 Castrol Toyota Racing Series race on are also being made available through the steam workshop. Studio397 has made the tracks “from scratch” based on real data and onboard footage supplied by TOYOTA GAZOO Racing New Zealand. Highlands Park, Teretonga Park and Manfeild - Circuit Chris Amon have already been uploaded, with the other tracks to follow soon.
“At Studio 397, we are proud and excited; the Tatuus pack already received some super feedback in the e-Sport and car racing scene, we have now upgraded the pack and bring a new car plus all five championship tracks into the game. It´s a super car for novice and experts and the new Zealand tracks are just a dream to race on. Dare to be different…
It also put an extra mark on where we see rFactor 2. It’s the closest simulation experience to the real thing. Through our open source set-up we support external partners, like Engineering Consult, to supply proper build tracks to the simulation. Championship promotors can create a live eSport championship without the crazy cost for drivers, teams and e-Sporters."
The FT-60 Premiere Race will be held at Manfeild on Friday 3rd January 2020 at 9.00pm CET/GMT+1 / Saturday 4th January 2020 at 9.00am (NZL time).
The event will be broadcasted live on World Pro Racing’s social media, on RaceLine.tv and also on Toyota Gazoo Racing New Zealand’s Facebook page. The race will be monitored by World Pro Racing’s FIA licensed stewards.
