Repeated driving on driving circuits or race tracks that require high-load on tyres, brakes, suspension components, drivetrains and engine, may damage some vehicle components due to the heat and stress generated by spirited driving. As a result, sudden component failure may make difficult to operate, control, or stop the vehicle. In order to enjoy circuit racing and other motorsport driving with safety and peace of mind, we ask that you inspect and replace, if necessary, the following parts, oils and fluids before and after each event, in addition to normal maintenance.
- Oil/fluid and grease: Inspect thoroughly for the correct quantity, leakages or other abnormalities
- Brakes: brake pads, brake hoses, brake rotors/linings, brake callipers
- Tightening: wheel nuts, suspension parts (suspension arms, etc.), battery terminals
- Installation condition: check for any loose or insecure components
- Tyres: wear, defects, air pressure
- Lamps: headlights, turn lights, brake/tail lights
- Instrument panel: meters, hazard lamp switches
- Safety equipment: seat belts, (fire extinguishers in some areas)
- Viewing: windshield/side/rear glass, outer/inner mirrors.
