Toyota Highlander – Spiral Cable
Toyota New Zealand is recalling 91 vehicles due to a potential issue affecting the steering column on certain Highlander vehicles, manufactured between March and April 2023.
This is a precautionary measure to inspect the steering column spiral cable’s bus bar. This will be completed free of charge by Toyota stores and will take approximately 2 hours to complete.
Owners of the vehicles, which are traceable through registration data, will be contacted by Toyota New Zealand by letter.
