Toyota New Zealand has announced it now has a range of genuine reversing cameras which can be fitted to most recent Toyota models.
Toyota New Zealand's accessories Manager Will Kennedy said "The new cameras can be fitted for around $700 and are compatible with any of the recent Toyota models where the audio has a camera display screen."
"These are genuine Toyota accessories and can be simply plugged into the rear of the in-dash audio. Fitment can be particularly useful on vehicles with limited rear visibility such as four wheel drives," said Mr Kennedy.
Toyota Genuine Accessories are backed by a 36 month/100,000 kilometre warranty, including labour costs when fitted by a Toyota dealer.
This initiative follows Toyota New Zealand's earlier release of genuine 'park assist' sensors which can be fitted to the bumpers of Toyota vehicles to audibly warn the driver of any obstacles behind before the vehicle is reversed.
